Mr. López’ professional career covers over 30 years in the payment systems area, including 20 years with Crédito Unión, C.A., an institution that pioneered the issuance of Visa cards in Venezuela, where he reached the position of Operations Vice President. Subsequently, he worked for one year as a consultant to Visa International, Latin America and the Caribbean region. During the next five years, Mr. López served as General Manager of GM Group, Inc., responsible for overseeing the processing for more than ten local financial institutions as well as other institutions in Ecuador, Honduras and El Salvador. Mr. López is associated with JBalaguer & Associates from early 2000.
